Truly amazing.

Paul Rand is a very famous if not the most famous, old school, graphic designer from way back before graphic designers even existed. Every design student learns about him and about how amazing he was and so on.

Here is his business card, unapologetic for how unexciting it is. No flashy colors or wild designs for this guy. With a focus on clean typography, balanced negative space, and subtle texture what can one say but… Paul Rand.

As a glutton for self inflicted pain I figured I would try this blog-thing one… more… time.

Basically it’s like this, I’ve grown tired of posting all of my cool links, deep thoughts, and otherwise great ideas on Facebook only to have them swept away in the din of farm games and birthday wishes. Hopefully, by posting and controlling and owning my content here I can make a more worthwhile contribution to the Internets and to the world.

I’m taking bets at how long you think this will last. Good money says it won’t live beyond 5 days.
